This from the axe in the price check section shortly after the first update (the accidental one as I understand it).

Everyone knew guild storage was coming. There will be merchants as well. They have to be purchased though. Dunno the cost.

I wonder if this means that we'll be getting back the crafter option at Henge...?

Question is, do they still drop or was the drops also removed along with the pvp-thing with 3rd instance of the patch?

I dought it. If they add it back to merchant then the mod would be completely worthless.

They way it stands there will be a market for these kinds of weapons but it will not be too overly expensive after the price balances out. If they add it to the merchants then it would kill the market before it even got started.

They might add some greens with this though.

Actually, twicky_kid, that was my point. If the mod can be found anywhere, then there's no need to not have the HoD sword available for crafting.

Granted, if they did that, the current HoD swords would be worth absolutely nothing instead of very little.

Actually if you read they said in an interview they are increasing the effectiveness of purple and gold items that drop to make them better so it could just be the start of that...

Personally I think the +5 energy mod on an axe or hammer will be very popular with the warriors...but even more so with rangers! (if it is on a bow also)

Do these make wands/truncheons/.. redundant now? How many people are going to give up the % chance for faster recharge or casting for unconditional energy, plus whatever else can be modded onto these weapons.
